While sitting outside, I found myself talking to a pigeon. (Yes, really.)

Two men nearby joined the conversation—drawn in, I think, by the lightness of it. One thing led to another, and they invited me to a songwriting workshop… where I was also asked to guide a brief mindfulness meditation for the group.

I didn’t go looking for any of this.
I simply listened.
And because I did, the universe met me there—with music, connection, and an opportunity to offer presence.

This is what the new life feels like:
Not forced.
Not strategised.
Just one intuitively guided step at a time.

This is the first of four songs I have been writing over the last year. I started thinking about changing my style about 18 months ago. I had tried before but only now was it really ready to align with the new vibration of my muse. I wrote this rhyme early 2024 and it was on the back burner until the newer material came out earlier this year. I’m really happy with it and especially excited that I finally figured out how to make lyric video with CapCut and my little friend Chat Je Pêté… or however you spell it in French 😆
